Customer Use Scenario – Deployment Services

Build-A-Pig was founded by a former high tech executive who grew up on a farm in rural Iowa as a member of the  4-H Club.  Employing a B2C business model, Build-A-Pig customers design their own stuffed farm animals online, for distribution around the world.  After selecting Teams Phone System Altigen was brought in to deploy the entire solution.

  • Build-A-Pig wanted local phone numbers in each country in which they do business, routed back to their main customer contact center.  This was easily accomplished using a combination of Altigen’s SmartSIP service and Microsoft Calling Plans - which resulted in an increase of call (and order) volume of more than 10%.   
  • Build-A-Pig also called on Altigen to deploy it’s web chat routing and queuing solution, enabling web chats from anywhere in the world to be routed to a customer care specialist. Now the specialists can share their design application with customers, simplifying and expediting the process of building the ideal stuffed animal.
